The Craft Behind Our Luxury Packaging

Jewellery is not ordinary. It’s made from materials formed over thousands of years, shaped into something with a unique lustre that can last for generations and even become a family heirloom – which is a special honour in itself. Because jewellery is this special, we believe the way it arrives should feel special too. The person receiving it should feel valued, appreciated and genuinely cared for, from the first glimpse of the parcel to the final reveal. Jewellery is beautiful, and it deserves beautiful packaging.
Every order is treated as a luxury gift set, and the experience you open has been designed with as much care as the jewellery itself. Rather than buying generic boxes and bags, we create and finish our packaging in‑house, using specialist equipment and carefully chosen materials to build something beautiful, themed and truly memorable.

Thoughtfully Chosen Fabrics and Local Collaboration

The fabric bags you receive aren’t off‑the‑shelf. They begin with carefully selected themed fabrics, sourced from local suppliers who share our appreciation for quality and character.
Each collection has its own visual language – bees, oceans, constellations, florals, Wonderland and more – and the fabrics are chosen to echo that mood. When you see and touch the bag, it should feel like a natural extension of the jewellery’s story, not just a container.
These bags are designed to be keepsakes, not waste: something you’ll want to keep, reuse and enjoy long after the first unboxing.

In‑House Design: Brass Stamps, Foil and Finishing Touches

To achieve the level of detail and consistency we expect, we bring the design and finishing of our packaging into our own studio.
Using a Turbo‑C3 carving system, we design and carve custom brass stamps that carry the Lynne Lee logo and collection motifs. These are used with our hot foil press to apply luxurious metallic details to:
  • Jewellery boxes
  • Gift bags
  • Tags and seals
  • Selected printed elements
Because we design the stamps ourselves, every motif can be tailored to the collection – from subtle symbols to bolder themed icons. This keeps the whole presentation cohesive, intentional and unmistakably Lynne Lee, rather than a mix of unrelated parts.

Sublimation Printing: Themed Details, Created In‑House

We also use in‑house sublimation printing with dedicated heat presses to create themed elements that support the overall experience.
These pieces are designed to sit quietly within the unboxing – reinforcing the colours, motifs and mood of your jewellery without shouting for attention. Keeping this process in our studio means the artwork can stay perfectly aligned with each collection, and it allows us to include occasional, thoughtful surprises that feel genuinely connected to your theme.

Art‑Quality Story Cards and Printed Details

The story of your jewellery matters, so we treat the printed elements with the same respect.
We use a Canon imagePROGRAF Pro‑320 art printer to create high‑quality story cards and other printed pieces. These are produced on thick, carefully chosen card stock, with:
  • Artwork that reflects your chosen theme
  • A short, considered story or explanation on the reverse
  • Debossed or foil details where appropriate
The aim is for these cards to feel like small art pieces you’ll want to keep, pin up or tuck into a keepsake box – not just disposable inserts.

Precision Cutting with Brother ScanNCut

Clean lines and perfect shapes matter just as much as artwork and foil.
Our Brother ScanNCut allows us to scan designs and cut materials to precise, repeatable shapes. We use it for elements such as:
  • Cutting pillow box templates so they fold cleanly and sit correctly
  • Creating sticker sheets and decorative cards with accurate outlines
  • Producing custom tags and inserts that match each collection’s artwork
By handling this cutting work in‑house, we can fine‑tune every curve and edge until it feels right. It means your packaging doesn’t just look beautiful in theory – it’s physically well‑made, with neat folds, consistent shapes and a level of precision that supports the overall luxury feel.

Precision Engraving and Studio‑Level Detail

Where metal details are needed, we use our Magic F30P engraving system to add precise, clean engravings and motifs. This allows us to integrate metal elements into tags, charms or other touches without compromising on finish.
Because all of this happens in our own workshop, every element of your packaging can be designed to match the collection and refined until it feels exactly right.

A Deliberately Perfectionist Approach

We take a deliberately perfectionist approach to the entire experience. Keeping design, production and finishing in‑house means we don’t have to accept “good enough” from external suppliers – we can control every stage, correct anything that doesn’t meet our standards, and ensure that no part of the experience feels overlooked or second‑best.
Every order is assembled and checked by hand, with a focus on luxury, quality and coherence rather than speed or shortcuts.

Designed to Feel Beautiful, Not Wasteful

While this page focuses on the craft and tools behind your packaging, the materials themselves are chosen with care:
  • Cardboard boxes and biodegradable envelopes instead of plastic mailers and bubble wrap
  • Reusable elements like fabric bags, tote bags and jewellery boxes
  • Printed pieces designed to be kept, not immediately thrown away
Our aim is to create a beautiful, luxury experience that feels indulgent and thoughtful, while still respecting the impact that packaging can have on the environment.

More Than a Box: A Controlled, Considered Experience

When you open a Lynne Lee Jewellery order, you’re not just opening a parcel. You’re opening something that has been:
  • Designed alongside your jewellery
  • Built with specialist tools in our own studio
  • Shaped by carefully chosen fabrics, prints and finishes
  • Assembled and checked by hand with a perfectionist eye for quality
All of that work is there to create a moment that feels luxurious, personal and quietly surprising – an experience that does justice to the jewellery you’ve chosen.
